Are you people kidding? That's a scene straight out of Blade II. It's not fake. Perlman played Reinhardt, a member of a team formed to hunt Blade but ending up working with him against the Reapers.

I don't really know who would make a good live-action Batou. I don't suppose Perlman would be all that bad.

I think Ron Perlman is a good fit for Batou. I can see him with the ranger eyes.
