o how i love this show one of the few shows that makes me think and maybe even join the military (mabe not)

I love Gits! I mean you gotta love the people in this Show! tell me if i'm wrong but what other show has.....

1. A hot girl who walks around in her underware.

2. 9 giant blue robots who might have a soul and are constintly asking you for (natural) oil.

and 3. A villian who turns out to be a good guy called the laughing man but he's really just a kid!

need I say more?

P.S. Gits has also inspired me to join the army!

Well, this is my first post on the [AS] boards. I'd like to thank them for running both seasons consecutively so i could Tivo all of them! This show is the reason I started watching Adult Swim. Now if we could only get them to show the movie....

i guess i can get onboard with this thread.......GitS is one of my most favorite animes of all time, GitS2: Man Machine Interface pwns too...i would love to see a movie or series made about it...the adventures of motoko aramaki as she struggels to understand her role in life as the first human to have absoultly no ogranic cells left, where existance on the net is just as real to her as the real world is to us...and the fact that it's hinted at that she's one of the majors "children" from the first movie and manga is cool too.....

On that note, what was going on when their computer switched on and started trading after she left it.
Obviously some kind of manipulation/hacking/whateveryouwannacallit, and probably by the MOHW, but I'm really not sure who does it and why

i would have to say that that dead guys e trading AI was hooking him up for giving him the fairy toll, or the major was hooking him up with.....confiscated funds.........(S9 does it in the manga....for a dead rookie).....

Hm, I see. I guess I had always viewed it as a malicious activity, but you're probably right there.
Havn't gotten to enjoy the manga yet, though it's certainly something I'll be getting to

im gonna join this awesome fanclub. i have seen all the eps and both movies, i am waiting on Ghost in the Shell: SSS to come out and GiTS; SAC 2nd Gig to come out in a box set. I love ghost in the shell
