Ghost in the Shell

Just saw the first episode.

I give it a 5 out of 5

There was a scene in the episode that got one point.

1. Major's outfit and the way she shot that guy's foot.
2. The funny scene where Batou Says "I think he broke"
3. The guns
4. Quality opening theme
5. For almost half the second act, the tv rating was stil posted on the screen!

The episode was rated TV-14V for bloody violence, excessive use of guns, and heavy political overtones. Nice bathroom, though.

The episode took place on April 14, 2030 AD

1. Very Nice Bathroom
2. Togusa = pwnsome marksmanship
3. Motoko = "" and uber hawtness
4. Batou, "I think i broke him" very hilarious.

Ghost in the Shell is one of the ALL TIME GREATS when it comes to Anime and the anime' industry!!  It sets an example for ALL anime' directors/creators to follow, and is one of the LEADING shows that gives us a glimpse into the vision of the future!!

I agree i feel that GitS offers the best representation of the future because to me that is what it will be like in the year 2030.

they are playing it in chronological order dude. Granted that GiTS; the original movie took place in 2028 and GiTS2; Innoscence took place in 2032, and the manga, i think, is in a different year as well. But the years that it is in, doesn't matter.
