Ghost in the Shell; Solid State Society was granted a $3.2 million budget on this film. This takes place in 2034, 4 years after the end of 2nd Gig, the US release date is confirmed and its July 2007.

Why would they make a movie, unless it is completely Japanese based, people would think it would be a rip off of the Matrix.  I wouldn't mind it, but they would have to spend a lot of money to make it appealing and they would probably not make enough back.  Yes I understand  Ghost in the Shell is what caused the Matrix to happen.  They should wait 5 years, then people would seperate the two better.  Also our technology needs to catch up a whole lot.
