Proto

I know Proto is not human or a cyborg, but an prototype android.  I also know that Motoko, Batou, and Borma are full cyborg.  I know that Togasa is all 100% human with just enough brain augmentation to talk, send, and recieve messages without moving his lips.  I am wondering how much being a cyborg the other characters are?

First off, everyone is cyberized so they can connect to the net and communicate with each other. That much should be a given.

Motoko - Full prosthetic

Batou - Full prosthetic

Togusa - Full human; has an unspecified number of prosthetics installed in Solid State Society.

Ishikawa - Not specified.

Borma - Full prosthetic

Pazu - Not specified.

Saito = Right arm and Hawkeye installed in his left eye.

Azuma = Not specified in the anime, but has at least cybernetic sensory enhancements in the manga since he says he has a better nose than a drug-dog.

Yano - Not specified. Doesn't matter anyway.

Aramaki - Not specified.

Proto - He's a Bioroid. Watch Appleseed if you don't know what they are.

I thought Aramagi had a full prosthetic brain. I mean I know the others have cyberized parts in their brains to communicate but I thoght his brain was 100% computer.

So Togusa finally succumbs and gets some in SSS, huh? Man a bit let down to know that. One of the things I loved about his character is that he was so total badass and rght up there wth evertyone else WITHOUT the cyber parts. But I guess in a futeristic place like that ad in a line of work as that sooner or later you're goinna need them, huh?

As for Togusa, it actually came down to a matter of necessity that he got some prosthetics. After getting shot like he did in the first season, the doctors said that he might have to undergo some prosthetics in the future.

Well I guess it's still impressive that he was able to hold out for as long as he did wthout them and still managed to kick some major butt.
