What the crap? TVY7-FV?

So, after the commercial break just now for episode 9 of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, I saw the TVY7-FV icon instead of the TV14 (Or was it TVPG) icon that showed up at the beginning of the episode. Has the series all of a sudden become a childrens show by our standards? O_o

And no I didn't get a picture. I couldn't get my camera in time.

Well I don't know why it would say TV-Y7. At the least it should say TV-PG, but I normally see TV-14

Content ratings are based on an episode by episode basis. Episode 9 last night was very light on profanity, violence, suggestive dialogue, and all the other stuff. It's one of the tamest episodes in the series, so it falls under a Y7 rating.

Yeah I'm aware of the episode by episode basis for TV ratings. Still, I find it surprising that one episode got rated lower than TVPG when the first series is TVPG-TV14 (The sequel was TV-14-TVMA). Thanks for the explanation.

It was a mistake. The schedule page (and all past airings) have episode 9 rated TV-14. The lowest GITS is ever rated is TV-PG and that is only in episodes 15-17 of the first series.
