God, Bob, & The Devil

Does anybody watch this?

So far it's not all that captivating.  There's a lot of shows that have a devil theme.  Lucy, Daughter of the Devil.  Ugly Americans.  None of them are that good.

God, Bob, & The Devil is like The Prodigal Son.  The devil doesn't seem so bad and he's trying to make up lost time with his dad.

I hope it gets more interesting than it's been so far.

There's a reason that show didn't last long in the first place. I don't know what they were thinking when they picked it up.

Television as a whole has lost it's appeal to me.........I still use it as background noise, but the only shows I find myself actually trying to catch is The Daily Show, Colbert Report, and whatever AS is vomiting down my neck at the time.

Kaitlyn brought a wolf for me to fight, and refused to speak to me until I'd bested it in battle.
I did so, easily. Because there are three things that I'm the t!ts at: Barbecuing, Mega Man 2 and finding lupine pressure points.
I thought we'd mack a little after that, but she just laugh-cried manically over the wolf corpse until her face turned purple. Also, she was driving an Aztek and that's literally my only deal breaker.

I remember when that show first came out. I don't think I liked it much. I haven't watched it since it's been on AS either.

Yeah, it hasn't really held my interest for very long ever. It's weird, sometimes when I'm just not interested in a show but tired at the same time I'll just go ahead and stare at a wall for awhile. I did a lot of that with this show.

No. Because it looks stupid.

But Mongo Wrestling Alliance is a little bit better than I thought it'd be.

I noticed EvergreenPanda also said that this show played on another channel and it didn't do that well.

I wonder why they picked it up if it didn't do too well? Maybe it was cheap and they just needed to fill a time slot.

I use my television for background noise too.  I get stir crazy when I just have my thoughts to entertain me.  Sometimes I feel like I'm trapped in a prison cell when I'm in my room and it's quiet and I have nothing to do. I think to myself, "I have to get the fuk outta here!"

I go outside just to make sure I'm not in a prison cell.

I don't think I could make it in prison.  I would probably off myself.  If I miraculously made it out I would probably go on a killing spree.

I've been staying up till 4am watching nothing but east coast news, amc, sy-fy.  It's not like they have the best programming at that time but I'm not tired and there's nothing else on.

Probably. They likely thought they could pass it off as reviving a smart show that could win over some folks with a "college" sense of humor. Maybe not a bad idea, really. Nobody knows what's funny anymore; they just laugh when cued to. Especially college folk. That approach seems to be working for Ugly Americans, anyway... >_>

Lucy is the best out of all of them.

Ugly Americans is crap.  The "normal" white guy has to deal with all the fuking ugly immigrants.  What a kind benevolent soul.

Yeah, I have thoughts that haunt me in silence.....Like if there isn't anything producing little images for my mind I tend to think of crazy things.....The power went out today, and I was trying to get some sleep, and for some reason all I could think about was a bear mauling me........I would try to think of other things, but I just couldn't let the bear mauling go.

I've never done prison, but during my short stint in jail there was a rule that you don't have a say so as to what's on the tube until you've been there 3 months........All we watched was female exercise shows, trash TV, and Nick at Night.........Like being locked up with burly Women.

Kaitlyn brought a wolf for me to fight, and refused to speak to me until I'd bested it in battle.

It was originally on NBC, but it got low ratings due to local stations pre-empting it supposedly after religious types complained.

The show was cancelled after three episodes, but was aired completely overseas.

I like it, as well as LDotD and Ugly Americans too.

Now I know what this show reminds me of.

It's the story of Sodom and Gomorrha.  God sent his angels to find a few good souls but they can't so he destroys the two cities.

I guess this version has a twist ending.

I'll give this show a couple more tries because I've only seen 1 ep.  It's not like I have anything better to do.

Where I am there are a bunch of movie channels so I usually hit those if I don't like what's on AS (which is most of the time). I also have a wide variety of entertainment available on my computer.

My cable company offered me digital for $66.00 a month. I'm thinking upgrade.

I don't like the show because it portrays white people as normal and everybody else is a fuking mutant.

I know, I know.  That's what makes it funny, 'cause it's true.
