Birdman: The Birdcage replacement thread.

[ Edited ]
Since The Birdcage has been phased into the Swimarchives. I decided to make a replacement thread for fans to talk about the show.

             WELCOME TO THE BIRDCAGE

A lot more space than the birdcage and twice the birdfeed.

No trolling, No flaming, you know the drill.

                                                       Enjoy!!!

w00t! New Birdhouse!

I'm gonna miss Birdman. But it felt like they were running out of idea. It's a shame really. I think they could have done more with Birdgirl. She was funny.

Ah, the Birdcage, I guess it was time to retire the ol' warhorse.

Now you have a Birdhouse to talk about Birdman. Not a birdcage, but a whole house.

and I also made the thread  to talk futher about Leaf's idea of the Smurfs vs the Snorks lawsuit.

and possible guest stars and more talk about Birdgirl.

Man that woman is one hot tomato.

and Will Phil Ken Seven will be back on the final episode????

(That Steven Colbert is one talented guy).

I've been watching the Birdman DVD volume 2 multiple times for it's commentary.  I like the idea of one of the creators to have X kidnap Birdgirl and then birdgirl drives a wedge inbetween X's friendship with his roommate. With the final two episodes, I would like for it to happen. I have a feeling they have planned something else.

I think Colbert's return in the finale might cool some of the backlash against the show as of late, but also actually having a court case would help too.

Thanks:smileyhappy:, I'll try the best I can with this thread.

I feel something is needed to fill the gap that the birdcage left behind. With only two episodes to go. We need somewhere to put our final thoughts on this amazing series.

It's a shame they couldn't wait to close the Birdcage until AFTER the final two episodes, but hey nice to know someone's picking up the slack.

I was kind of worried that the hardcore fans wouldn't embrace it. I.e ."I know the Birdcage, and you sir are no Birdcage."  Or it would descend into irrelevance because of the show ending or be lock up or dismissed as a copy cat thread. I'm glad somebody liked it.

On the Dvd: Things brought up on the commentary.. X's fascination with Birdman? Repressed homosexuality? or Too much time on his hands? Maybe X will appear on the new Birdman episode? I would love to see Supervolt on the program on last time.

Anyway, I wish some insider would give his or her blessing to this thread. Maybe that would help it to grow. I hope I don't post to much and **bleep** the oxygen from everybody else.

Another pressing question. How come the spell check comes up with Friedman instead of Birdman? a joke?

you guys are quite welcome! I have no idea when the new ones are airing considering they changed the schedule on the main page. :smileysad:
The sooner they're on tv the sooner they'll go to dvd! haha. I keep watching sets one and two over again. I'm starting to quote entire episodes randomly. "... like hell I was! I was 26."

The worst is when people just laugh that way normaly.  There is a guy in my department who laughs like that all the time.  Working here too long gives you drain bramage.

They always lock and archive these threads during the oddest times. I never get a chance. House sounds weird. I miss the old thread.

I would be the first one to admit that it's not like the old thread. It's too late to change the name now, But I'm honored by your presence in this thread. Welcome Leaf, kick up your feet and stay awhile.
