I think it's because once new Robot Chickens start they want to make room for double RC to take advantage of the hype (especially with Titian Maximum right around the corner) and then they of course can't have ATHF gone from the weeknight lineup for more than a month because that's just not how they roll.

12:00  Robot Chicken

12:15  Harvey Birdman

12:30  ATHF

Yeah, a schedule with more variety would be better. Heck, I'd prefer if they just did:

12:00 Squidbillies

12:15 Moral Orel

12:30 Metalocalypse

12:45 Birdman

But I know that'll never happen.

11:30  Robot Chicken X 2

12:00  ATHF X 2

12:30  Squidbillies

12:45  Metalocalypse

1:00  Moral Orel

1:15  Birdman

1:30  Home Movies

this way

-  American Dad can get the air time it deserves

-  there would be 2 Robot Chickens, to piggy back on the success from the new episodes & the premiere on Titan Maximum

-  there would be 2  Aqua Teens because 1. it would get good ratings 2. that's just plain cool

-  it would have Squidbillies, Metalocalypse, Moral Orel, Birdman, and Home Movies to add the variety the line up needs

the only down side I can see is losing 1 episode of KOTH & Family Guy

The problem is that we've had complete dunce crap for like that past 5 years. Other than VB and RC and the Boondocks, there really hasn't been anything good. 2007 was probably the worse year and the live-action nonsense has only gotten that much worse.
