The Birdcage: Home to all things Birdman

Hey there everybody! My name is Les, and I'm the lead animator for Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law (starting with the new 2nd season of shows). I'm putting myself out here because I think these boards are absolutely awesome and I think its great to have this link to the fans. Much kudos to Swimbuddha and the rest of the mods and admins for a job well done!!

I'll try my best to answer any questions or comments you might have about ol' Harv and the gang, but please understand there are some things I just cannot comment on such as unnaired episodes and the exact processes we go through to produce the show.

Other than that, anything goes (that the Mods will allow) :smileyhappy:

Wow.  I can agree  that it's messed up, if you can agree to find a 12oz Mouse thread to post in. :smileywink:

But it's a good first post! :smileyvery-happy: Watch Harvey Birdman and come back here!

Harvey Birdman costume

The bands on the wings probably should have been black, and the costume is a complete rip off since for $30 all you get are the wings and mask, at least with Space Ghost you get the whole costume...but how cool is that? It's even cooler if you can get your friends to dress up as the rest of the cast.

True. You could always paint them black, or cut little slits in the jacket and stick the wings out (hopefully it's a cheap suit...Hey just like Harvey!). And to have costumes of the other cast members would be awesome, but I don't think they are available yet, unless you know of a handy seamstress/cosplayer?  Either way, I'd do it.

Well, Phil would require no work whatsoever. Just a suit and an eye-patch. Both are pretty easy to obtain. Peanut could be practically the same as Birdman, you'd just need a sweater vest and tights. Everybody else would be slightly more difficult, I did see an awesome Birdgirl costume at a convention though.

Birdgirl

I'm pretty sure that's the same one. I never took pictures of my own. I still think it's weird to take pictures of random people.

WOW! :smileyvery-happy: Very nice costume, complete with whip! The only thing left is a briefcase!

I watched the preview, but I'm already sad. The new episode is the one where two of the main characters just die, right off the bat, right? Oh man...***bleep***....there's only two people it could be, really. Regardless, if this means the end of Phil Ken Sebben, I will cry. And cry. And cry some more. (Ha ha, sobbing forumite!)

We all have our fingers crossed on that! I hate to see any character from HB get whacked. But it would be almost T.V. suicide to kill off any characters voiced by Colbert.

And it's also one of the episodes that has commentary on it. Man, I would like to hear that.

Oh man, you're taking a chance here.  Some of the people here will pester you until you're a shattered husk of a human, waiting for death to come...

So let's begin!

Actually, I just wanted to thank you so much for bringing us such a wonderful programme.  I laugh so hard sometimes that they've had to reattach my spleen twice.  I hope to see it much more often soon, and hope it becomes regularly scheduled.
