Birdman was the first show I ever watched on Adult Swim...*sighs*...It seems like so long ago...Now I have all the DVDs...I really love the Live-Action opening special feature on the Vol.1 DVD...Also, I love the music from the show. If anyone out there knows where I could get it.....let me know.

Yeah, it would be cool to see new episodes of Harvey Birdman. My favorite episode of all time was definatley the last one. Phil Ken was hilarious, i laughed so hard when it came to the bus scenes. It was pretty funny when phil got into the bus and started checking everything like the mirrors and adjusting the seat, and then just said...Reversing! and took off. lol. the guy in the back was scared to death lol. And also when he ran over that lady, and not even noticing it.

If they did make new episodes of Harvey, I wonder if they would start fresh or somehow continue with the last episode?

It would be a reboot with Christian Bale growling the voice of Birdman

So, I suppose this is the place to ask questions and discuss and whatnot.

First off, let me say I've been a fan of the show for years, although I have to admit it is disappointing to see that a thread made by one of the show staff seemingly went unnoticed for a good year or so, and that that guy has apparently disappeared since.

I'm not sure if this has been commented on yet, because I haven't read the whole thread.  There is something that has been bugging me for a while.

Has anyone seen the old black & white movie about an attorney, whose name is actually Harvey Birdman?  I've seen bits and pieces of it on multiple occasions, on I think TCM or AMC, but I could never figure out what it was called.  I've tried looking at the movie lists for those networks, and nothing seems to spring to mind.  Has anyone else heard of, seen this, or know what it is called?

Is this where they got the inspiration to re-imagine Birdman as an attorney, defending other classic Hanna-Barbera character, and working with some of them in the law offices, albeit in comedic fashion?

Hi welcome to the birdcage!

Sadly yermama hasn't been with the company for years.
The thread was archived for a while untill I pulled it from it's purgatory,
And sadder still is that this board is not very active.
With regards to the movie, I cant say that I've seen it. Only thing off the top of my head
Is a movie called boomerang with an attorney named something like henry harvey or Harry harvey or something similar;
And then the obvious Harvey, the big imaginary bunny, but he's not an attorney.
Question has been passed along though.
Here enjoy some seed, and there is a bath over in that corner if you're interested.

Thanks.

I see, so is that why people didn't reply to the staff member, because the thread was locked?

That is very sad indeed.

Thanks for passing the question along, and for the welcome.  I swear though, man, that movie is real!  I've seen bits and pieces of it on at least two separate occasions, and I couldn't have misheard someone say "Harvey Birdman" for anything else, I don't think.  Certainly not Harvey Henry.  I mean, pretty much as soon as I heard that what popped into my head was "Holy crap, is this where they got the idea for the Adult Swim show"?
