My favorite show growing up would have to have been either Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers or the Teenage Mutant Turtles. favorite animated show now would have to be Samuri Champloo

He's been known to stop by from time to time, but he's rather busy with Stroker & Hoop now. When that premieres, he said he'll start a discussion thread for the show like this one.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what is Stroker & Hoop about?

I've seriously never heard of it at all...
The only thing I know is that it's coming to adult swim. -_-

Well, I've never seen an ad for it. lol. I guess that's pretty strange, too. But then again... I've never seen Starsky(sp?) and Hutch either, so I'm not really sure what to expect.

All I know is that on July 24, I will be looking forward to ze birdman! :smileywink:

Thanks for the very informative and detailed answers!  :smileyhappy:

SInce I have been watching SGC2C since the early CN days (and Brak became an early fave character), it appears I have been watching your animation for some time now! Isn't it nice to get paid for doing what you enjoy! Keep up the great work.

I grew up on the Superfriends too, (in booming voice..."back at the Hall of Justice...") so if you had anything to do with the WonderTwins shorts, big thumbs up on that! Perhaps one day, AS will show us an episode of the "Latin American Aquaman Action Hour!" (that sounded weird...say that outloud three times fast.) I didn't even know that Cartoon Network had their own channel for L.A.....Los Angeles is sooooooo lucky.

Looking forward to the new episodes. Remember, we are watching...way too closely.

- The delay between 1st and 2nd season had to do with issues involving the amount of time it took to do the first season traditionally. Now that we're onto Flash, the process is much much faster. Once the second season hits, do not expect the kinds of delays we had with the 1st season. There'll likely be a space of time between the 2nd and 3rd seasons (if there is a 3rd season), but not the kind of time it was inbetween 1st and 2nd. Believe me, we're cranking out as many as we can, as fast as we can :smileywink:

- Hmmm, what old HB series would I love to see spoofed? Wow, thats a toughy... all the really classic ones have been done... but there is still a goldmine of characters in the HB archives yet to choose from and I don't want to give anything away as to whats coming in the 2nd season, so I'm gonna have to take a pass.

- I have stood in front of a judge before... does that count as legal experience?

- Unfortunately there are no super hero projects on the near horizon to my knowledge

- My favorite episode of HBAAL so far... gotta be Dabba Don "You're dead to me can opener!!"

- And thanks for all the support, I'm trying to stay current with the postings, but am having some technical issues (which we're trying very hard to get resolved)

I third the motion to find the name of that song! Also, I'm assuming the song is by the same artist that made the song for the live action Tab Can sequence in "Shaggy Busted"...at least it sounds like it could be by the same artist :smileyhappy: Also, thanks a lot for the awesome Q&A thread Yermamma! It's nice to see people who are involved with the shows communicating to fans of the shows...is there no better place than Adult Swim?1?!? :smileyhappy:

I was watchn' webcam 'action' 'bout 11 am wed.

It looked like a meeting w/ steve , brian , and kevin on the couch.

Was this a meeting about Birdman? What was in the box?

If not just wanted to let you know I am a great fan of the fine work you all do.

Sorry 'bout that last one, what I think I was seeing was Lazzo chewing out Jake before someone opened his X-mas gifts for him..................................Oopps.

One question though, Why was 'Blackwatch Plaid' mostly recycled animation? I could name where I had seen almost every scene in a previous episode. I'm not knocking the episode, It's one of the best BM's ever.

- The webcam over at WS is in a completely different area than where we are... completely different building across the interstate. Who knows what kind of madness they got going on over there

- Blackwatch Plaid was mostly re-use, and its purpose was to save us some time on our production schedule. I thought it turned out really well too... thank goodness they still decided to keep us animators around!!
- Hmmm, my favorite cartoon as a kid... always loved the classic Warner Bros stuff as well as the old Voltrons (although the classic HB Superfriends will always hold a special place in me heart)... nowadays, still a big fan of the classics but some of my favorite new things are Family Guy and The Venture Bros. I was excited to hear when the new Ren n Stimpy went into production, but alas was sorely dissapointed when I got to see the new eps... some things are funnier left to the imagination than being hit over the head with.

Hey, what up? I was wondering why is it so long between te new episodes of Birdman? I mean, we at least get repeats of other stuff, it's hard to live with out funny shows.

Thank you for answering my question!  I have a couple more.

Do many people in the Birdcage have legal experience?  Behind the scenes kind, not "Shoot!  Today's my court date,"  or watching a lot of LA Law in the 80s kind.

What cartoons can you guys use as a resource when chosing Harvey's clients?  I really want to see Lucy from Peanuts get called on practicing psychiatry without a license.
