I believe Colbert at the very least has said he's not interested in producing more episodes.
*laughs* well that's putting it mildly, because according to Jackson Publick's Livejournal, when World Leaders Entertainment approached Colbert about continung to provide the voice of Richard Impossible on The Venture Bros. apparently his (Colbert) agent, manager or some other lacky at his representives sent out a nasty email to Publick basically stating "Stephen has neither the time nor the interest in participating in your project." At the most Colbert could have said that he wasn't able to continue because of scheduling conflicts and left it at that, what his people wrote to Jackson Publick was just insulting. Click here for the link to Jackson's LiveJournal page talking about this.
You know give a guy his own TV show on Comedy Central and a political Super-PAC and he gets a swelled head and an ego the size of Texas.
