I will admit that it's different when watching it on air.  I will watch it on air by myself, but I usually watch the dvds with friends.  I guess I understand what you're all saying...it's better to watch it with fellow fans.

Home Movies is the single greatest show that has ever existed. But the anime is not to be blamed.

What about others like Dr. Who or Top Gear?

There are MUCH better shows than home movies like The X-Files, Whose Line Is It Anyway, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, or even Futurama.
