I remember when...

I was in elementary school, 11pm was too late for me to stay up. None the less, I would sneak out of my room and watch Home Movies. I always passed out by the time the credits rolled, but those are my first memories of [as]. Back when the disclaimer said 18 and up, and the bumps didn't show except on sundays.

Vague memmory for me too.

I was 12 or so when it first aired on the now defunct UPN.

I know the show is poorly drawn and is incredibly boring to even more boring than life.

This show had no bussiness being reaired, or even made.

AS made a mistake.

I think I was in the 7th grade when I saw Home Movies for the first time on the night Adult Swim first premiered (maybe I was lucky, but my mom never gave a **beast** about me staying up a bit late or anything like that, as long as I wasn't going out and smoking crack or something).

Anyway, I've loved it ever since... and I loved it because it was boring.

I was really amazed at that age that a cartoon could imitate real life so well. Characters mumbled and mixed up words occasionally. That was really novel to me. It didn't sound scripted, and it was just about regular every-day s**t I could understand and relate to.
