Hard to tell, but I'm leaning towards Indian. I've always loved the diversity in Home Movies.  Any thoughts on Josie?

Never really thought about it. That hair color throws me off. I suppose maybe Indian. Although isn't Robbins a Scottish name? They don't look Scottish at all though. They probably didn't give it much thought.

It's hard to tell, but Home Movies actually all takes place in Cuba. You're right though, they're all Mexican. They immigrated to Cuba to escape a small civil war. It's pretty sad actually. A lot of people don't get the underlying messages in the show, and the fact that the only thing more powerful than Home Movies's comedy is its drama.

Hardly any women in Home Movies have noses.

And hardly any men in Home Movies have lips.

I think the only women that had noses were in season one. The babysitter (Who might as well be considered a man anyway) and Loni, who was Brendon's girlfriend for a day or two.

Pretty sure her dad is white (and tan because Robbins is a white last name) and she is half something. What race is her voice actor? II'll assume she is the same race since they are both brown and have the same first name.

My old roommate who is black answered this question for me. She noticed this in the episode where Melissa is afraid of water. My roommate being afraid of water herself immediately noticed the stereotype.

I always thought of her as black. All the hair in that show is a bit brighter than I would normally expect it, so I always thought of the purple hair as just "slightly brighter black" since it's not that far off and black has no color in it to actually make brighter. Though Paula has purple hair too, so it might just be a normal thing where they live.
