My P and M don't think Home Movies is funny

I showed the first episode to my parents. I told them it was the funniest show ever. They didn't laugh at all.

Did they tell you it wasn't funny?

I love home movies but i rarely laugh at loud at it. For me it's just subtle humor that always manages to bring a smile to my face.

Home Movies is very subtle but it does have some very laughable moments, especially with mcguirk.

The show is more about witty humor than stupid humor like Family Guy.

I've got half a mind to say
all the things that bother me today.

Home Movies is a weird show when you aren't used to that type of humor. I thought Home Movies was kind of weird when I first saw it at least. It's a style that sometimes takes some getting used to, and even then (as with any comedy style) it's not neccesarily going to click with the viewer.

It takes patience to get into, and nowadays, patience is about as scarce as newsprint and going outside. [as] is a very important outlet. It is to television what the independent scene is to music; usually a breath of fresh air.
