The Studio: Home To All Things Home Movies

I wanted to celebrate the change in schedule for Home Movies by creating a fan club of people who like Home Movies. Talk about your favorite episode, character, or anything else that relates to Home Movies.
"First we start it off with a little guitar. And then I go, 'Yeaaaaaah!'. Then the girls go, 'Woo!'. And then I go, 'Hot mama's!'. And then they go, 'And here's a whole bunch of money!'. And then I take all the money and then I go out and I try to buy Apple Jacks, but do you know what, the secret service is coming, and they start hitting me, and they're hitting, stop hitting me, who's talking to me, stop it!"

I'm looking forward to seeing the first season. I didn't start watching for the longest time because it meant staying up until the bitter end of the block, but once I saw a couple episodes from season two I was hooked.

Edit: Oh, yeah. Favorite character has to be McGuirk. H. Jon Benjamin just adds so much to the show, it would be inconceivable without him (especially since he also plays Jason, among others).

Home Movies: Pizza Club!!!

I'm in! :smileyvery-happy:

My fav characters are Coach McGuirk (who doesn't like him?) and Melissa. I love whenever he's mean to her. Her expressions and saying "coach" all sad are brilliant.

"Renaissance" and "Coffins and Cradles" are my fav eps right now. The exchange at the end of "Coffins and Cradles" between Brendon and Linda has to be my favorite moment in the series. His anger and misunderstanding of her cursing at him was priceless!

I'm so happy it's back on and at an earlier time!

Didn't realise we were making a Fan Club here. Anyway, yeah. I love Home Movies!

I got season 3 for Christmas and I love this show. I was one of the original viewers to see it when it first premeired way back when. I don't have season 1 or 2 though because I thought I'd just go straight to the best stuff. The writing on this show is briliant, the dialogue is great and the critics give it high praise.

Remember in "Coffins and Cradles" when Linda was having the baby and she was cursing at Brendon, do you remember when Brendon was like "Knock, Knock" Linda: "Who's There?!?!?!?" Brendon: "F**k you!" What a funny episode!

How can I not be in.

I'll have to go as Jason as the all time best character and the funniest part would have to be the radio interview on the season 2 DVD, which I don't think actually counts. But it was my favorite semi-Home Movies moment.

I've changed my icon to celebrate Weekday Home Movies. This is the best thing since they once did it before.

By the way, does anyone have a favorite movie Brendon, Jason, and Melissa made? Mine has to be the movie they made with the human turning into a monster after giving a speech. i think that one's on tonight.

I like the one where Brendan is the king who keeps shrinking. It compliments the main plot about his father's fiancee.

The Robin Hood meets King Arthur performance at the Renaissance Fair. Its awesome.

I would have to say that "time to pay the price" is hilarious cos it gives you an inside look of alot of movies they made. Also th fact that they ended all of them with the line "its time to pay the price" without even relizing it. Soooo funny. Love it!

I thought "Storm Warning" was a nice little ep, especially when McGuirk  was trying to tell the kids the harms of a tornado. I found that pretty comical

It's always exciting when Home Movies makes it back into the schedule. My favorite character is Jason but Brendon is easily my second favorite. My favorite episodes are "Method of Acting" and "Shore Leave"....but I must say it's hard to pick favorite episodes. There are too many great ones.
Pod 6 is Jerks!

Bring back Home Movies......it's time to pay the price.
