I am so happy home movies is back on the line up.

My favorite episode is the one where Brendon and Jason are each others fat enablers.

"good night my sweet fat prince" has to be one of the funniest lines ever!

one of my favorite episodes of home movies has to be History, because it has starboy and the captain of outerspace. i love it when the captain of outerspace says: nothing can stop us now starboy, not even our fore-fathers and starboy says: or our fore-mothers. it makes me laugh every time.

Yeah same here. I like McGuirk an all but I have to come out and say he's a bit overrated, no offense. And ok I'll admit it I think Paula is hot and funny. (not crazy)

i love the episode "Shore Leave", where melissa is stuck at fairy girls and Brendon is stuck at Fenton's house. The end scene where jason and Mcguirk bust them out is genius.

BTW, has anyone been to Brendon Small's website? his music is kick **bleep**, plus he has the Kafka soundtrack.

Tonight my cat was with me when i was watching it and it was freaking him out... he was running up to the screen and would hop and bat at it with his paws, then he'd hop back and run away then come back up a few min later and do it again.... it was hillarious. Must have been the squigglies messing with him.

Home Movies.  Hooray!

I'm amazed at the amount of love this show has been getting on the boards.  It deserves it.

Favorite episode: Either "History", "Guitarmaggedon", or "Director's Cut".  All really strong episodes, with good music to back it up.

Character:  Jason.  But, really, all of them.  It's just that Jason's seemingly non-sequitor dialogue at the right moments makes him awesome, and you really sense that he has a unique thought process all throughout the conversation.

I actually bought the script for "Coffins and Cradles" off of eBay.  Lucky me.

And "Art of the Sucker Punch" is on tonight.  I know that if I watch it I'll pay for it tomorrow, but it's such a good one...

My favorite movie they made is the one they filmed "on location" at the hotel during the field trip. I also love that episode for McGuirk's interactions with his fellow coffee shop worker (I think her name was Clarice).

Didn't one episode of Home Movies, I think it's "Shore Leave", win an award. I remember reading something like that on the back of the Season 3 box set.
"First we start it off with a little guitar. And then I go, 'Yeaaaaaah!'. Then the girls go, 'Woo!'. And then I go, 'Hot mama's!'. And then they go, 'And here's a whole bunch of money!'. And then I take all the money and then I go out and I try to buy Apple Jacks, but do you know what, the secret service is coming, and they start hitting me, and they're hitting, stop hitting me, who's talking to me, stop it!"

It got an award at some festival in Italy, and was nominated for one in France.  It reminds me of the "Stowaway" episode when Brendon talks about how their work would be appreciated in Europe.

It's good to see the love for Home Movies rekindled. I haven't seen the first episodes in a long time and it reminded me of how funny Jason actually is.

Emo Philips

Shannon is the intellectual bully.
-The only man who is really free is the one who can turn down an invitation to dinner without giving an excuse.
-Don't put your trust in revolutions. They always come around again. That's why they're called revolutions. People die, and nothing changes.
