there's a number of shows that I think were cancelled somewhat prematurely in a creative sense.  Obviously there are a lot of factors that go into renewall, picking up a show etc.

 

But Home Movies' cancelleation came I thought on the heels of great promise, their best season ever, and it looked as though the next would have been better still perhaps, though we'll never know.

 

there are others.  Stroker & Hoop and Assy McGee to name a few.  Shows that were just getting consistently better or seemed to just be finding their potential when they were cancelled.

 

But Home Movies was the first big show I can remember where that was the case.

 

Might have been nice to see that one last unrealized season.
