Chapter 2. The Prince
Humbug shifted again in his chair as he tried to find a comfortable position. Last night had been quite turbulent both in the emotional arena and, later on, in the sheets. Odin had proven himself to be as competent at giving as he had been with receiving. Though it had left Humbug sore in many sensitive places the pain was well worth the pleasure.
Even in the exciting throes of a new romance there was still work to be done. Humbug sighed as he skimmed through the usual pile of user complaints and reports. Often these cases turned out to be one user upset over the behavior of another rather than a breaking of actual board rules. After his years of internet service Humbug had grown used to the rampant idiocracy that reigned inside his computer screen, but sometimes he just wanted people to STFU and realize that Revanchist was not going to shut up so stop encouraging him!
The only member of the board that was perfect was comrad.
The scent of orange tic tacs wafted into Humbug's nostrils and he didn't jump as big, burly, hairy arms encircled him from behind. The admin smiled and leaned back against Odin's beefy chest.
"What are you up to?" Odin asked as he played with a strand of Humbug's hair.
"Work stuff, you know, enforcing the power of the banhammer." the admin grinned.
"Let me show you the power of my banhammer." Odin's voice lowered an octave and he squeezed Humbug tighter.
"Oh, I know firsthand how expertly you wield that hammer." the admin teased while trying to cover up the evidence of his own arousal.
"That may be, but today I added an accessory and I'm looking for a user review." With a flick of his wrist Odin spun the admin's chair around so that Humbug could get a good look at his lower extremities.
"But we got rid of the 'reviews' sub-forum years ago." Humbug gulped as Odin stood glistening before him.
"Give me half an hour and you'll be scrambling to resurrect it."
