In a professional theatre, you never miss a rehearsal.\

If you do, you're fired. That's it.

If you're late, you're fined heavily.

We're supposed to have twenty people; seven showed up tonight, including myself.

Only five of them have an actual reason to be gone, and that's okay, because we're still in an educational setting.

But it's really going to bite the other no-shows in the ass when show time comes along and none of them know their stuff.
