stacy was tired from her long journey. she had placed maumau in her bag along with some food and drinks just incase she couldn't find any so far from her home. she'd been travelling by foot for almost 2 days now, fatigue was weighing her down.
she saw someone coming towards her in the distance not too far ahead, they looked like they were on a horse. as they got closer she squinted her eyes trying to focus. the rider was a beautiful girl with long flowing brown hair, she had a long bow and arrows slung across her back.
"hi, i'm insanerabidfangirl. i've been travelling the lands for months now, searching for my brother who disappeared almost a half a year ago. his name is cyberneticxmasghost, have you heard word of him, have you ever come across him during your travels?"
stacy didn't feel threatened, but she was tired, and just wanted to fix mojo. irfg could see she was exhausted just by looking at her face and warn body. stacy just 'shook her head no' and tried to walk around the horse and ranger.
"where are you headed? do you need a lift somewhere? i may be in search of my brother, but i talk to and help anyone i can along the way, who knows what chain of events may lead me to his location. i never pass anyone by."
stacy was hesitant to accept help from some girl she didn't even know. and this girl also seemed to have her own priorities, but the will of her body overpowered the will of her logic, her body needed a break.
"i need to see exquisitecorpse, the necromancer. i think i'm heading in the right direction."
"his home isn't too far from here, i passed it but an hour ago. come on, ill take you." irfg grabbed stacy and pulled her onto the back of her horse, "you don't happen to have some pepperoni do you?" she asked quickly.
"n-no?" stacy replied.
"that's a shame." irfg turned the horse around and they rode in the direction of exquisite.
the ride was bumpy but stacy felt relieved, somewhat because she was no longer walking, but mostly because she was no longer alone.
she wrapped her arms around irfg so not to fall off and she tried to enjoy the scenery.
her mind began to wander and she thought of pryoga and how mean she had been.
then she thought of her poor mojo. making sure she could feel him in her bag, she grabbed it and felt his cold hard exterior through the cloth.
a tear almost escaped her eye, but she closed them tight and and rested her face on irfg's back for a while.
irfg and stacy had been travelling for quite some time on horseback.
irfg told stacy stories about many strange things she'd seen since she started seacrhing for her brother. it was a strange world they lived in.
stacy noticed a beautiful garden outside a grand castle through some trees not far from the trail. she thought she saw a person walking in the garden and the sight of them sent butterflies up into her chest.
they quickly disappeared behind a hedge. leaning forward
stacy talked in irfg's ear and asked, "who lives there, who is that girl in the garden?"
irfg slowed the horse til it came to a stop.
"i'm not sure but maybe she's seen my brother, i have to make a pit stop, you should stay here, i know you're tired and it may not be safe."
irfg hopped off the horse and whispered something in it ear. "i'll be back shortly!"
she jogged off through the woods towards the garden outside the castle before stacy could agree or question her suggestion.
stacy's curiosity got the best of her in no time, she felt if someone could give her such a feeling by just a glance, like irfg, she couldn't pass them by either.
she got off the horse and snuck through the woods until she could hear two voices talking. for some reason the voice of the stranger sounded farmiliar, or perhaps it was just her imagination. she crept closer and closer until she had them in her sight but she stayed low and hidden. finally she realized who she was looking at. a mixture of feelings came over her. it had been years since she'd seen this girl last. how could she have left stacy alone for so long? is this where she had been for all these years?
"no, i've never heard of cyberneticxmasghost, i'm very sorry, but you cannot stay here, please, you should leave right now."
"very well, i will go, thankyou for your time."
irfg turned her head and looked directly at stacy, stacy stood up revealling herself to them both.
stacy and the other girl locked eyes, a gasp escaped the girl from the garden's lips.
