I don't get this obsession over bringing toonami back. Is it because they want the old shows back? Why not just tell Adult Swim to get them? Also, they will overplay eventually, and they will get new anime and release the older anime just like Adult Swim. Really the only difference is Tom. Is the robot buffer really that important?

Tom is a means of interaction between the network and the fans. [as] no longer provides that for the anime side. Everything else on every other day sorta gets it, with the bumps, but it feels less personal than it used to back in the early days.

Also, black and white bumps don't have the voice of Steve Blum.

Personally, Steven Blum and his incredibly talented voice-over work is what makes any entertainment block just incredible. Currently, the only and I mean only lead-in to the next show on [as] is a black screen with white text. Yeah, that's definitely better then a fully functional, talking robot by the name of TOM introing the next show.....Not. Also. just frankly talking about what is coming up next and interacting with the viewers rather then doing a tired, and completely black screen with some white text thrown in for the entire 6+ hour block.
