What are the copyright dates on the VHS tapes? Or rather, were any of them dated before 2001, because the series itself goes back to 1986. You would have to own a pre-1986 VHS tape put out by Vidmark or Trimark, or an original Japanese tape, to prove your point.
What...ditdittwhhattwwdsgaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhh?! Really.... really?! You're going to try to change the conditions now, after I already proved my point?!
We're talking about American TV, I thought? As in, "The TV airings always have to come before the video releases". Something that's just because it's often done now, people seem to think this is set in stone, which it isn't. And, it isn't even "always" done nowadays, either.
I got into the series by watching random Android Saga episodes and eventually kept tuning in every day. They were re-runs, but eventually it got to new episodes. At the same time these new episodes were on TV, you could buy VHS tapes of episodes later in the Cell Saga, and even some for the Great Saiyaman Saga which comes after. For an InuYasha example, It would be like if while Adult Swim was showing the Panther Demon episodes, you could go out and buy the Band of Seven Arc DVDs, or something.
That was the whole point of buying them, so you wouldn't have to wait to see what comes next! Granted, I eventually went back and bought earlier episodes, but that was also because mainly I hadn't seen most of those either, as they'd have the habit of mainly re-running the episodes of the most recent Saga and not the whole series from the beginning.
Do you really want me to dig through my closet and take photos of the tape cases; and then go look up the original airdates? I really have to go to that much trouble? I mean honestly, what purpose could I possibly have to lie about this?!
