*InuYasha is about to pick up the jewel.......*

I did not forget.... she says sit how many times before it breaks? The point is that that threat of deaths gives her pause and in that pause he could regain his senses and finish her... before it breaks.

It was the second SIT that broke it.  By the time he gets out of the river and climbs up the cliff, she could get him 30-40 more times and break half his bones, or just keep going until he gives up.

I'm almost certain she never pauses.

The official version for this board is either the Shonen Sunday or the hulu version.  There are links to both in the announcement inside the banner.

And the original release of Inuyasya was in 4:3 standard definition.  So that makes the HD "version" a non-version of someone's up-sampling.

Also, listen carefully.  Kagome says the command once and it is followed by three fading echos.  She only repeats the command one more time, after all the echos have faded.  That's when the bridge breaks.
