Close enough But yes I too enjoy the third movie the most.

I think the first one tends to get overlooked for some reason but it has its own unique look to it and the story, while nothing new, is genuinely touching. I don't remember for sure so this might all be wrong, but I think the first movie was the only one that used animation cels.

For me, it's more like 3>1>2>4.  Movie 3 wins simply because of tension generated and grand battle sequences both between the brothers and with the army of zombies.

I thought the first movie was alright, I only liked the last 15-20 minutes or so myself.

The second movie was okay, my only part was the "you know what" scene

The third movie was probably my favorite, at least what I remember of it now.

The fourth was also up there in my favorites too.

I didn't care too much for the InuYasha movies. 2 and 3 were the only two that really stood out for me, but the other two aren't that great in my honest opinion.

The movies weren't too good in my opinion either but they were watchable and as a pretty "hardcore" fan I had to end up buying them anyway, lol

There aren't many anime movies that are really worth watching. The biggest reason is because most of the movies are filler and not all filler is particularly 'good.' There are exceptions though.
