You mean he proposed at the end of the episode after that episode?  How is that supposed to help me pin it down?  I told you, I don't exactly have episode numbers memorized, like some folks. Anyway, I'm sure I've seen it, because I've watched the whole show countless times, but with so many Monsters of the Week, I'm sure the memory fogs after a while.

The two epsiodes were part of the same story and came right after the Band of 7.  Now that you know the numbers, you can always look it up for a synopsis.

Oh okay.  Well, I suppose I can look it up later.  But, I'm planning on re-watching the show after I read through the manga, anyway.

I might look it up, but as I said, I do plan to re-watch the show sooner or later.  And, I remember the proposal, but I don't remember the "egg-cident". Well, I remembered what mattered, in any case.

It was the two-parter about the "village of demon women".  After they finished fighting the salamander demon and the possessed women, Miroku proposed.  'Nuff said.

it was bad enough disc one only had 5 episodes on it
while all the other discs I think had like 4

The first two discs had 5 episodes each and the second two had 4 each.  There were only 18 episodes in the 4th season; and just 5 had any canon material in them.

Oh, okay. Did the salamander demon live in water?  Was there a scene with the women in water?

Yes.  The salamander demon was originally in a scroll in a shrine and the gang met a guy who was looking for his lost fiance in the village.

Hmm... I'm thinking of women and a witch living in a fountain... spring?  Women getting controlled?  Water demon/witch(maybe the controlled woman that orders the others around) involved?  Maybe it's another episode I'm thinking of.

I don't remember women living in a fountain; but the salamander demon was trapped in a Kwannon scroll in a small shrine and the oldest woman in the village (there were no men or children) was the "ringleader" of the possessed women.  All of them had swallowed the demon's eggs, which hatched into small demons that possessed the women.

Yeah, that sounds about right.  I remember the ringleader lady.  I wonder where I'm getting the water from, then.

All the women would hide in the water.  There was a cave that they went to at the bottom of the "swamp" which was dry for some odd reason.

That much is true; but the last few posts have been to help ben0119 recall the plot of the episode in question.  He is honestly trying to place it and can't quite remember the details.
