It is looking good, I agree.  Pleasantly surprised to see it up when I came in here.

But how did you become a BirthdayDemon?

I took both from scans of the new Viz 2011 calendar.  So, if you want to see it, go buy one.  (Shameless plug.)    The background was actually the harder of the two to work on. 

I have the images from two of the other banners (Rin and the Inu brothers), and just one of the backgrounds.  I needed them to get the dimensions for the new one. 

I have plans for a few more images and just one background.  If you would like to make a background or two, LoverDemon, welcome to the world of banner making. 

If I can keep to schedule, you guys will have a new banner every month.

Well, we need someone really creative to come up with a good background banner.  The front images are easy (at least for me); but those backgrounds are tough.

Not exactly.  I just sort of volunteered.  Right now, I have some ideas for monthly character images.  The hard part is coming up with nice backgrounds.  Unless people want to look at the same background for several months, we will need new ones quite often. 

So, if you have ideas for backgrounds, just post links.  If it is a nice repeating pattern that won't overpower the characters, either LoverDemon or I (most likely LoverDemon because he's better at it) will work it into a banner that fits the page for the HELPeRs to post.

All this is mostly to take the pressure off you from having to tend to so many folders.    It's not that we don't appreciate your past work, which has been nothing short of spectacular, but I feel guilty for leaving you with the burden when I can easily pitch in to help.

Got a couple of banners lined up for when people get bored of this one.  Miroku and Sango will have a shot, and Kagura (she gets a solo), another of Inuyasha and Kagome (what can I say?  The calendar has more of them than anybody else.  ).  Then there's Kikyo (maybe vs. Naraku) and finally Shippo with Kirara.  Oh, and a group shot.  In the meantime, I'll keep looking for something I like of Rin.

I have the Japanese version of the 2008 Calendar with 6 nice pics, but they are really huge.  I don't know if I will be able to get decent scans of them.

So do I.  It's something good with Rin that's hard.  Unless she's sitting on Sesshomaru's shoulder, it looks awful.  The only one's you can put her with are Jaken, or Kohaku, etc.

Yeah but I meant everyone. XD All the main characters, most of the popular villains as well and even some of the background characters I guess you could call them,
