Speaking of which, isn't it funny how I bitched about wanting to make a banner, which then lead to the creation of the contest, but I never ended up making one or participating in the contest? *halo over head* ^.^

And what do you mean slow smolder?  Are you implying the banner is a gif that glows and radiates?  I was talking about your Inu icon being a gif that moves...he sniffles!  I didn't pick up on that, at first.

The slow smolder is a reply to helpme.  If you go back a few pages in the Contest thread, you will see earlier versions of the banner where the word "Inuyasha" is blindingly bright.  It was overpowering the rest of it.

You must be using IE.  I had that problem a few weeks back.  I had put it in compatibility view for something else and then forgot about it.

Still, "slow smolder" implies movement and action, aliveness, almost... like a crackling fire.  It's kind of odd that you would use that to describe a static banner.

Look at the word "Inuyasha", it implies fire and embers burning.  Lots of "static" images imply motion.

Chrome, at the moment.  Though, it just occurs to me, that I came here to reply to the manga posts, first.  I'll want to switch to Firefox for a little while to do that, and I can check and see if the text looks any different on the banner, as well.

Edit - I'm on Firefox now.  It still looks messed up.
