InuYasha Nostalgia?

I'm not sure if there is a thread out there like this, and if there is then a mod should obviously feel free to delete this, but I figured it might be interesting.

So basically I've been thinking with all the hype (for me at least) on InuYasha The Final Act English dub releasing hopefully soon about how long I've liked InuYasha, when I began watching it and buying manga/DVD releases of it and what not because I'm planning to re-buy the series in the seasons 1-7 & movie box sets that released quite some time ago now, incase they go out of print anytime soon and because I want to get rid of all my single DVDs I have from InuYasha... what happy memories do you have with InuYasha? Do you wish you could go back in time and rewatch it like its the first time? Things like that, just to start off I'll share some of my first times with the series below.

I began watching it around 2004 when it was airing at 11:00 each Saturday night or so and it was premiers of the third season, my first episode ever was Fateful Night in Togenkyo Part 2 and I remember thinking "Wow, this looks a cool show" and I never found out the series name until the week or two after when the 50 year old curse of the dark priestess episode aired and I was going past Cartoon Network when InuYasha just happened to be on and I continued watching from there on out.

From there on I began buying the single DVDs as they released each month at my local Suncoast for $24.98 a disc, along with the graphic novel releases too.

InuYasha was one of the first animes I really ever really enjoyed, a year or two previous to my first encounter with InuYasha I had got into Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and just about anything on Toonami so InuYasha was a pretty big introduction to my anime collection/hobby overall, I still love the series just as much as I did on day one.

So again, what memories do you all have with the series? I'd love to hear them and discuss with you all.

Everyone makes them, but it's not a major one at least, right?

Don't worry.  Happens all the time.  Sometimes on purpose.

You should repost your intro into that thread...or doxiedachsie could just fuse the two threads together if she feels like it...or if you ask nicely...or something.

Used to stay up in college just to watch it. By 04 it became my favorite anime on [as]. Still have really fond memories of it. Glad they did Final Act too. I wanted it to end in a decent enough way.

Also, if memory serves me correctly I *think* I didn't even intentionally start to watch the series. I was watching Bebop when in 2003 I started watching InuYasha. My first episode was the one with the monster guy who has another monster come out of his mouth. Jagaromuru or something. Naraku brought him in a cage & then set him loose.

Excellent memory. They were  Jageromaru and Kageromaru.
