I hope he has the same awesome abilities later in the story (beyond the end of the anime series) that he showcases here.  He must choose to repress them more as he goes soft later in the series, but I'm sure he retains them.  I doubt poisoning Naraku would do much good, but the transformation he makes next week might be of some use!

Yeah he also thakfuly is played by the only real dub actor on the show I really like. David Kaye.

The problem with his dog form is that he will only have one front arm/paw.  It is possible for a dog to run on three legs (I know some people who had a collie with three legs) but I don't know how well he could fight.

I'm sure Sesshomoru could still battle just fine even with the missing limb.

He actually begins a transformation later in the series but never completes it. That suggests that his demon form is still usable.

well unlike you guys i guess i will pretend i was back in 2003 i started watching the show in 2007! by that time i was watching a show that was boring and i was flipping through channel until i saw this one show i liked it ( bleach but it wasn't on in 2003!) then the next one was inuyasha i saw a little and thought it was kinda stupid cause i only saw that one of two hearts on mind n inuyasha was talking to kaede that old hag. T-T  i thought it was gonna be a japanese crap but when i saw the one about kaguara well the scene i saw was the one where kaouga and inuyasha were fighting and inuyasha told kagome to shot him it kinda got interesting there on i became in facuated with the show. the show is good overall...

i thought kagome was sango and miruko was naruko.  i didn't seem to notice well i did but i can't denying the fact that miruko and sango were in love!  though the show is good

He IS awesome, but Richard Cox as InuYasha makes the series, and gives it the lasting appeal that keeps it a solid hit even six years after its dub debut.  I would like to meet Kagome's voice actress someday, just so I could freak her out by telling her "I don't know how many times I've fallen asleep listening to the sound of your voice!"  To which, she would promptly respond: "You and about 10,000 other guys, but thank you!"

I haven't been able to find her birthdate anywhere, but from her list of stuff she has done on IMDB she must be in her 30's at least.  But man, does she have a great voice.

Ever noticed how Kodachi and Abi-Hime have similar voices?  Yup!  Teryl Rothery (and both Saeko Shimazu in Japan).

Yes!! Sesshomaru ultra bad arseness! Sesshomaru's so awesome cuz he shows no fear. One of his best lines:
"Ur patience with this creature is astonishing to me. U protect her, indulge her, even seem to love her."
He was so awesome when he had two good arms. Too bad he couldn't have kept it longer.

Then we get one of Kagome's best lines ever. "Hey u!! U tried to kill me! Didn't u?!". Her voice is so sweet and innocent in these early eps. Definate win. "Do u want me to tell u how to use ur sword? Well, do u promise to protect me, forever n ever?". Aww.

Oh! I just realized who Nobunaga's voice is! It's Light Yagami!! Also a bit of trivia on this ep. This is the only episode where we see Kagome's underwear.
