Well, I wouldn't think that sort of thing would be peculiar to this board.  But, I guess I could see what you're getting at.  People sign up, make their complaint, ask their question, and then disappear, etc...

Hmmm... yeah it is very strange.  But he said something about the credits still being in Japanese, which is a detail, which perhaps adds some credence to it.

:smileyvery-happy: Yeah that's usually the way it works. :smileyvery-happy:

So far there isn't any news for the dubbed, but Animax has been airing the subbed since October 10 of last year, but I'm sure if they had dubbed it already the would be a whole bunch of people talking about it, :smileyvery-happy: So far I see nothing about it at all, except the old announcement of it airing last year.

Ok, now would you mind explaining how you watched the 1st episode yesterday and then watched the second today when according to Animax's schedule there airing both the first and second episode today? Would you also mind explaining how you watch the 2nd episode today at 7:30, when it didn't air until 9:30. (And yes this is from Animax's schedule which goes by there time frame) So that means you watched two episodes in two days, instead of the two episodes in one day which is on Animax's schedule. So there's only two options, 1. You clocks are set wrong. or two 2. This isn't true.

It would also be helpful if you explained how no one at the Animax forums knows anything about this.

I don't know why you are treating me like a liar. Why would I go to the effort of posting such lies? For what purpose?

Here is the Starhub schedule for Animax in Singapore: http://www.starhub.com/entertainment/channel/animax.html
As you will see, Inuyasha comes on at 7am (repeat), 11.30am (repeat), 7.30pm (new episode), 11.30pm (new episode) everyday.
Also it might help if you go to the Animax-Asia website where you will find the schedule for Asia:
http://www.animax-asia.com/shows/inuyasha-final-act
Singapore's schedule is not there being such a small country but you will find that for the rest of Asia, on Apr 15 Episode 2 repeats twice

in the morning and Episode 3 starts in the evening.
I don't know why people are not talking about it in the Animax forum. Actually I seldom post at forum myself.

All I wanted was some info about the VA and I thought I might find it here.
Whether you want to believe it or not but I am watching english dubbed version of Inuyasha on Animax everyday starting from Apr 13.

I wasn't trying to make you out to be a liar at all, just wondering if you can back up what your saying.

And Sunrise hasn't even said anything about this, Sunrise has neither posted this on there site (And they updated there site today) nor on the Official Inuyasha:Final Act site, according to Sunrise this info is false, after all, if this were true Sunrise would have posted something already, I very much doubt we have 3 websites (ANN, Animax AND Sunrise, Sunrise and ANN especially,) where there to lazy to post this announcement, especially Sunrise who updated there site today, and ANN who updates ther site everyday, and if this announcement were true, you can bet this announcement would be moving like a wildfire and there would be dozens of blogs and board abuzz about this, heck there are a bunch of people who are waiting for this announcement, and so far your the only one claiming this, and yet Sunrise is claiming it false.

Now that would be proof to back up all of this, but then again even then the credibility could be kind of shaky, if not even Sunrise knows about this, an announcement about this would be all the proof needed.

Hey, calm down sweetie :smileymad:
I was thinking that myself that short of posting phone clip of the Final Act in english, there will be no way you guys will believe me.

But still the enjoyment of watching the english dub of Final Act is all mine so I don't really care whether you believe me or not.
Have you ever consider that for you guys, english dub maybe a big deal but not in Asia? Anime is very big here and most asian tv

channels have a few anime shown everyday dubbed in chinese. I even watched Bleach in chinese which is kinda weird.

Inuyasha is also not that popular here so having an english dub released is probably not as newsworthy as you would think.

Wait till it get released on your side of the world then the news will get buzzing.
Just trust me, it has already been dubbed so be patient and it will come your way pretty soon like FMA Brotherhood.

But anyway if you still think I am lying, whatever makes you happy okay.

Oh I forgot to mention ANN this is there daily updates

And ANN: IYFA Page

If this were true it would be listed under News, they've already mentioned Animax twice, once for the subbed debut and another time for a different anime series. So they are keeping tabs on Animax, if this were true they would have announced something beforehand, or they would have something up by now.

You're welcome, and yay for having a job. :smileyvery-happy: I wish I did...  But mind explaining why you are well-versed in English?  I suppose maybe a lot of you guys are over there, but I had speculated maybe you were in our military stationed there, or something.

Did you watch the original series in English at all?  Can you tell us if the actors sound similar to those actors?  I don't know why Sesshomaru would sound somewhat British.  I mean, David Kaye did do a British accent for Megatron in Beast Wars/Beast Machines (another of his favorite roles of mine) but I didn't think he himself was British, or that he played Sesshomaru that way, at least that I could notice.  Perhaps this is a different English dub done by another country and/or company?

Also, I am not calling you a liar either, but I dunno, you guys, could she even post a video of that?  In some sort of cruel irony, wouldn't it be against the rules of the Adult Swim Message Boards? D:  Also, I think there is merit to the fact that Tianhou mentioned English dubs aren't that big of a deal over there, and that InuYasha isn't very popular there.

Anyway, folks... I am thinking that maybe Viz got different VAs for some or all characters, or this is a different English version.  Remember that horrible dub of DBZ that the rest of the world got?  I didn't know it existed either, so who knows if maybe this is a similar case.

I think that it boils down to disstribution rights.  Viz only has rights for Western countries, i.e., Canada and the USA, and Europe.  It is entirely possible that this dub was done by a different company that has English-speaking rights in Asia.

Don't believe there is another company, unless there illegally subbing without rights to the show or something like that.

Lover, CG, please stop being arses. You guys speak with authority on things despite clearly having no idea what the heck you're talking about. You both don't understand how incredibly stupid you sound when you accuse Animax and foreign companies of not having rights or doing things illegally.

Animax's English dubs aren't Viz dubs. Different company, different voice actors (they're pretty bad more often than not). SE Asia is Region 3 and a company (not sure if it's in-house Animax or an external company) has rights to it. For example, K-ON season 1 just started airing dubbed on Animax yet hasn't been licensed for Region 1 (North America).

Also, here's some evidence of the R3 Final Act dub if you guys insist on **derp** and moaning: http://forum.cartoon-world.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&p=298118
