That's what I like about Yamaguchi.  He gives a creative spin to his lines.  One of his best was when he was crying to Sota about breaking Kagome's bike.  He whined like a 4 year old.  :smileyvery-happy:

I wasn't sure where to post this.  The Final Act discussion thread, or perhaps InuYasha re-air discussion, as perhaps that is a defacto "General Discussion Thread", but since you mentioned him here, I may as well post it here:

I just beat a great game last night, Breath of Fire III.  Turns out that Kappei Yamaguchi plays Ryu in III, IV, and V (Dragon Quarter)!  I beat IV a long time ago, and plan to play Dragon Quarter next... can't believe I never noticed it! :smileyvery-happy:

It's not that big of a deal, the talking is done in text, and even so, the main hero, Ryu only says about as much as you imagine yourself, sort of like Link; the only voice acting is during battles anyway.  So, stuff like grunts, shouts, screams whenever he turns into a Dragon, saying attack or spell names and chants, etc. :smileyhappy: Still, pretty cool, I thought.

Ryu. Breath of Fire is a series of RPGs by Capcom.

Okay, now that I'm done with that tangent... :smileytongue:

Oh, I see, Starks, and yeah.. probably won't hear a peep out of them now, Cox, Sheridan, anyone!  Also, I believe Sheridan had to take those comments down!

So, any thoughts on the mounting evidence of a possible 8/28 premiere of IYFA?

I hope you are right, my friend.  I hope you are right.  But, what "mounting" evidence is there?  Did you find anything else out besides what's on the schedule?

I would say, not only that schedule convinced me, but how quick Bleach came back, considering when it actually started dubbing.  That made a September 25th Final Act premiere seem all the more feasible.

By the way, 8/28, I think you are getting confused with Bleach, lol.

No, I'm not getting confused. The schedule works out such that Inuyasha 167 airs by itself on 8/21.

Yeah, well... it might work out that way, but I doubt that Final Act will be on by then, especially since it isn't on the schedule, and [as] already announced the new Anime for the 25th of September.  Unless, that Anime isn't InuYasha: The Final Act, or they move Final Act up.  You can never tell with Adult Swim...

If it was appearing wouldn't there have been some kind of announcement about this already, this is usually the time to make an announcement, so that fans know whats going on and when it's going to air, why keep this under wraps less than two months before airing it.:smileyindifferent:. (And no I'm not talking about an [as] announcement, I already know that they don't give a **alf**, about this) I'm talking about an announcement in general, yet there's been nothing.

Oops, sorry Ben I meant to reply to Starks not you. XD

Yeah, September seems like the most likely choice at this point, we'll probably get an announcement by the end of this month or the beginning of August, hopefull anyways. It does surprise me how there hasn't be any announcement about this at all. Not even the dub itself was announced about,

AS promised 9/25, but I certainly wouldn't mind if they break it.

After all, FMA:B premiered 1 or 2 weeks later than promised. Of course, that was due to a legal dispute.

I don't see much sense in having Inuyasha reruns return to episode 1 or 164 in order to facilitate an IYFA premiere on 9/25.

I can agree with that; but I would think they'd wait at least for an official Viz announcement.  As it stands now, episode 167 looks like it will have a double showing on 8/21.  But with [as] who knows?  The schedule could change several times before then.

There's no double showing. 167 will be played and rerun later in the night during the repeat.

Not sure why Kekkaishi 11 is going to be repeated 3 weeks in a row though.

That's what I meant by "double showing".  Two showings in the same night.

As for Kekkaishi, who knows?  I've seen the [as] scheduler do stranger things.

I wouldn't mind if they break it either.  The sooner the better!  But yeah, we'll just have to wait and see if we hear anything from [as], the schedule changes, or Viz announces something, etc.

Kekkaishi is having episode 11 repeated thrice?  Why?  For all I knew it was only going to be off for that one week when they are playing the Bleach movies.  I had assumed they had the rights to all the episodes of the show.  But, again... this is [as] we're talking about there.

It looks like there will be no premieres of Kekkaishi for two weeks between episodes 11 and 12.  Since the schedule doesn't specify an episode number for those 2 weeks, they might show anything.  Pot luck, I guess.

The best reason for them returning to episode 164 would be so that they could see where Final Act 1 is coming from. Because without having seen the original's ending and/or having a rough memory of it, Final Act 1 won't make much sense.

It doesn't say anywhere that they'll be repeating Kekkaishi 11 two weeks in a row, it only shows that Kekkaishi will have reruns for two weeks. :smileytongue:
