That's what I like about Yamaguchi. He gives a creative spin to his lines. One of his best was when he was crying to Sota about breaking Kagome's bike. He whined like a 4 year old.
I wasn't sure where to post this. The Final Act discussion thread, or perhaps InuYasha re-air discussion, as perhaps that is a defacto "General Discussion Thread", but since you mentioned him here, I may as well post it here:
I just beat a great game last night, Breath of Fire III. Turns out that Kappei Yamaguchi plays Ryu in III, IV, and V (Dragon Quarter)! I beat IV a long time ago, and plan to play Dragon Quarter next... can't believe I never noticed it!
It's not that big of a deal, the talking is done in text, and even so, the main hero, Ryu only says about as much as you imagine yourself, sort of like Link; the only voice acting is during battles anyway. So, stuff like grunts, shouts, screams whenever he turns into a Dragon, saying attack or spell names and chants, etc.
Still, pretty cool, I thought.
Ryu. Breath of Fire is a series of RPGs by Capcom.
Okay, now that I'm done with that tangent...
Oh, I see, Starks, and yeah.. probably won't hear a peep out of them now, Cox, Sheridan, anyone! Also, I believe Sheridan had to take those comments down!
