I honestly cannot enjoy the return of Toonami tonight.

I wish that Toonami meant the premiere of TFA. It is nostalgic for me, but like I said before, it will get tired too fast, even for me. But you're right.

Right now, I'm hoping that they will realize two runs of the same Toonami block on the same night is a bad idea and replace the second run-through with other classic programming, including picking up Inuyasha where it left off.

This isn't Toonami; It's [as] action with Toonami promos. 

But, hey, InuYasha had a good, LONG run. It's been re-aired at least 5 times or more. That's better than most shows with 150 + episodes (or at least for the anime shows). And, who knows? It could very well appear on the timeslot again in the future.

Who's gonna stick around for the second 3 hours?  It's a repeat of the first.  When Cowboy Bebop hits the Death Slot, it will not pull in anything near the ratings Inuyasha did.

I see what you mean. Though I'm pretty sure Cowboy Bebop recieves more views than InuYasha simply for it's old timeslot compared to InuYasha's crappy one.

They basically want to air whatever brings in the highest ratings.  If that means Inuyasha, so be it.

First, it looks like they kept the cheapest shows for Toonami, the ones with the least expensive licenses.  Second, they can still have the license for a show, and choose not to air it for a while. 

Once the numbers come in for the first few weeks of Toonami, they may rethink the schedule and move things around.

I guess that explains it... Yeah, I don't know anything about licenses and how any of that works. But I do know they can have the rights and choose to air it or not. That's similar to how a channel airs a movie.
