What's The Song Used In Episode 98?

The song I really want to get starts playing at the end of episode 98, where Kikyo, and Kagome start talking to each other.

Was this song ever released on an of the Inuyasha OSTs or any other album? I love the remix that was done to Kikyo's Theme!

Here's the song, to help you guys out! http://shutupload.com/dl/433f93728a4d/

Ah! That would be Kikyo's character theme song. You can find it in basically any episode she shows up, especially during the heavier or more meditative moments. Hope it helps!
Yes, I am aware that Winry is not an alchemist; I just like the ring the name had to it. :smileywink:

The song was released on at least the first OST, and probably some of the others as well, just not in that particular mix.  As was already said, it is Kikyo's theme, and you should be able to recognize it in the discography.

So the version used in episode 98 was never released? Only her first, original theme was?

Was this version of her theme ever used in other episodes, or any of the movies? If so, I'll grab all of the available recordings, and try to make the clearest possible recording edit I can, if it was never released officially.

It's the same song throughout the series, so there isn't really an episode-specific version. It'll always be the same tune, no matter what the context. Just look up episode 109; I'm pretty sure the theme was used there. There's only one theme for each character, and what you heard is invariably hers.

Here's proof that it's always the same.

I'll always be by your side.           You can always count on me.

The theme is the same, but the orchestration and mood may change depending on the nature of the scene it is played in.  Just look for the episodes featuring Kikyo.  You can scan through the series at the Inusec.info script site.  They list the cast at the head of each episode and you can single out the Kikyo ones quite easily.

I haven't noticed this version of her theme used up until episode 98.

But, I did hear it in episodes past 98 as well! It also plays in episode 107, 108, and 109.

I haven't watched the entire series yet, but I hope even more episodes play this version of her theme.

To those interested, here's the best Rec. Edit I've made so far with all of the recordings from the episodes listed above.

Almost no dialogue can be heard in this Rec. Edit!
