Besides, as it's kind of in the name, he'd get so tempted and excited by the smell, that he'd impatiently eat the food when freshly cooked and hot, thus giving us another "'Gome, 'Ih 'ungh ith uhnin'!" moment.

I wonder. 

In Shippo's first episode, Inuyasha took boiling hot ramen and scarfed it down immediately after Kagome turned off the 3-minute timer.  There is no way that thing had cooled off enough to eat by then.

The curry thing just boils down to him hating the stuff, and wanting Kagome's attention at the same time.

If there is enough meat stuffed in there in a creamy, yet salty mix, he might just swallow the thing whole.

He seems to like bland, sweet, and salty.  So there are several cheeses that might be pleasing to him.

I'm a really picky eater; although there are plenty of dishes with cheese that I love (*cough* *cough* pizza *cough* *cough*), I sometimes shy away from it.

Cheese is essentially curdled milk, cheeses like limburger or whatever that one is would be very offensive to his senses.

But cheese like ricotta is sweet and fresh smelling.  It makes great desserts, pies and cakes.  He would definitely love that.
