I don't know, I'm watching it on Fox right now. 

Luanne's not sure with life. Then this happens. And he sort of guides her in a different direction for a bit.. 

i dont know, it makes you think a lot about life.. 

Then Buckley says she's meant for something else. Being a mom for that short while?  

Did this episode have any impact on any of you guys?

Did Buckley actually say anything directly useful or prescient? Did he say anything meaningful at all? Luanne didn't end up finishing school, her greatest career success after this was in hair styling, and she ended up a mother and housewife with no impact from the "angel" at all.

My take on this is It helped her move on, and that was an impact. After losing someone close you can spiral out of control hence her no make up "I don't want to be beautiful anymore" attitude. She could have got much worse but his angel [which was more just her memory of him in my opinion] helped her move on with her life, trust he's fine and a in a better place, and that she has a reason to live. All things she came to on her own but it took the image of Buckley for it to make sense to her. I'd say being a a mother, a wife, and having a career is a pretty good place to be. Even if it really was Buckley, I'm sure he would think her having a happy life one day would be better then drowning in sorrow and becoming someone else.

I think this was a great episode to be honest.

It's a lot deeper then Mike Judge usually goes but I think the entire set of events from the explosion to Hanks fear he had to conquer after was incredibly realistic, and some of the best coherent story telling of the show.

Not really, I never looked that deep into but now I feel like re watching it just to try and catch that deeper meaning.

That episode was a shocker but other than the surprising events that took plac it wasn't that surprising.
