King of the Hill is an American animated comedy series created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels that ran from January 12, 1997, to May 6, 2010.

It centers on the Hills, a middle-class Methodist family in the fictional small suburban town of Arlen, Texas.

It attempts to retain a naturalistic approach, seeking humor in the conventional and mundane aspects of everyday life while dealing with issues comically.

The title theme was written and performed by The Refreshments. King of the Hill won two Emmy Awards and was nominated for seven.

It is now the third longest running primetime animated series after The Simpsons and South Park.

Nice job. itsacoster is sort of the temporary helper here but I would gladly like to help out. I've read every thread in here and do so every time there is more. Anyway thanks for this nice thread. And the sweet info in it.

Oh, okay. I didn't know there was a temporary helper so I just took it into my own hands to make the folder look a little nicer like others. I like King of the Hill so I didn't want it to leave it that way. I wouldn't mind helping out more myself.

... anyway like I said before in the Ratings Discussion thread I am suprised at two things:

1) [as] still airing it twice back-2-back w/o getting licenses from local affiliates. [as] only got other cable channels (FX) to stop airing the show; the local network affiliates can (and are) still airing them. Which leads into...

2) KotH only getting 350K. To me the show isn't the juggernaut Futurama was, but I'd think the repeats should consistently pull in 450-500K at least. Plus you have the scores of "anime-only" fans who you'd think would cling onto this show as the "anti-Family Guy,anti-PJs" show; a sitcom that uses smart, subtle humor that doesn't need to beat you over the head with gags to work.

King of the Hill has a HELPeR. He has just had a long week. I changed jobs so am now trying to become a diurnal person after years of being a nocturnal one. It's not as easy as I would have hoped. I actually didn't see this thread when changing the floated ones out. but it's floated now. Any other suggestions or ideas you have just post them somewhere in here or PM me.

Actually if you want, you can do any necessary changes to the OP cause anime4sabrina is actually my alt. account So yeah any mentioning of who the actual helper is for this folder just go ahead and do that (this is to you or whoever the helper is)

That would be great. As much participation from members who are fans would be great. I like this show too and want to do good for it

It's funny. When I made this thread I was like Im not the offical helper unless an admin says I could be and look now
