I think its hilarious as there are people I knew that share many similarities to characters in the show. I got my roommate at school hooked on the show, and he was a pure Family Guy fan. At the same time, I can watch a show like Squidbillies, which is NOTHING like KOTH, and laugh just as hard. And no, I'm not an old person and I have watched Squidbillies with my parents, and they thought it was the stupidest thing they ever saw.

OMG I agree... I've watched Adult Swim for a very very long time and once I saw that King of the Hill was going to be on it, I about cursed myself out of a public building. I mean really? King of the Hill? Come on Adult Swim don't go down the dark path that so many shows have done today. This show is very very I mean very boring and for 2 episodes every night really? There are a lot more useful shows out there. I just don't want Adult Swim one of my fav. shows I usually watch to start **beast** =/ .

Start every night with an action or comedy not an old country drawn show with a guy going " I tell you what" like every minute. Or a guy with a drawn emotionless face for one second than the next with him spazing out over a small little problem.  I feel like I'm stuck with an un-educated croud with this show sometimes. And I know most of you all would say well if you don't like it don't watch the show, but when you just got off work or got out of class and done with everything around 9-10pm what do you do? Well I normally try and watch some of my fav. shows but in this case I don't even dial in the channel for Adult Swim until it's at least 11pm now.  

P.S. all I'm going to say as well is Adult Swim wth were you on when u made Tim and Erik Awsome show.... I'd rather watch King of the Hill than that random, sickly, perverted, childish, and just falt out horrificly made show. I mean its like a child just flipped around some random clips and happens from today and got two people to puke, and drool all over themselves. If thats suppose to be the croud that Adult Swim is trying to reach now of days....hell I'm done with it.

First off, if your going to basically loose yourself all over everything over this dumb show please do it in a board that says something like O I don't know. " KOTH Fans" maybe you think? Not in  the board that asks the question of why it's even on Adult Swim. I'm just saying is all. Easy as that, or you'll just keep getting people saying stuff like " Omg why do you like this show?" to you everytime you post about your redneck beer drinking propane filled I tell you what show.

I really enjoy king of the hilli find how everyone makes hanks life complicated is funny and is over all a great show. Dale is definatly my favorite. But i do think they should only show it once so it allows for more shows to be put on the air.

It is a great show even though there are people that seem to blow off their personal frustrations by insulting the show and the people who watch it while boasting that they have more intelligence or better taste.

Not every show, every book, every comedian, every song, or etc is going to be right for everyone. I think it's a great show, and I know other people agree, it was a jump putting KOTH on [as] but it was a jump from normal for [as] to play anything it aired back 5-10 years ago, and they still do a lot of shows of variety that are risky ventures, some work some don't. Truth is there is good and bad to every work of art, so some people will like it and others won't, tv shows like KOTH are no different in that aspect.

Why not? Fox unfairly dumped the show yet other shows like The Simpsons (which hasn't been funny for years) continue to be renewed season after season.

At least King of the Hill remained consistent over its 13 season run. I'm just glad that somebody is continuing to air King of the Hill. I would hate to see it fade into obscurity.

It does seem odd to have King of the Hill on AS, but I'm glad they do, because I love it.  But maybe that's just the hick in me.

IMO, this show doesn't fit on AS.  It's basically a sitcom aimed at a middle-aged demographic.  It's not hip, not relevant and not very funny.  If you compare it to every other AS show, it clearly does not belong.

I actually found this thread by Googling "why is King of the HIll on Adult Swim?"  Glad to know I'm not the only one scratching my head about this show that belongs on TBS or TV Land or....well, who cares, really.  It's taking up space that better shows could inhabit.
