I loved Look Around You before, but it just isn't really funny anymore, in the past episodes the humor was in the parody of old educational videos, now it's turned into just average british comedy where everyone just talks about random things (and not in a good/funny way)

I must say, the ghost of Pyotr Tchaikovsky seemed surprisingly cooperative.  The hosts didn't need to discipline him via electric shock even once during the broadcast.

Of course, there's no telling what went on during the commercial breaks ....

I didn't like it as much.

I was really hoping for it not to change, but it did. Still funny but...I can't find the charm it had before.

From the mountains to the sea
We'll fight for freedom again

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without police protection is both. It is as cowardly to betray an offender to justice, even though his offences be against yourself, as it is not to avenge an injury by violence. It is dastardly and contemptible in a wounded man to betray the name of his assailant, because if he recovers, he must naturally expect to take vengeance himself.

Give your soul to God and pick up your gun,
It's time to deal in lead.
We are the legions of the damned,
The Army of the already dead.
"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ... And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."

Cheesus, lord of the Cheddar.

"The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists, and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"...and I'll look down, and whisper "No.""fiat iustitia et pereat mundus
"A wayfarer should not walk unarmed,
But have his weapons to hand:
He knows not when he may need a spear,
Or what menace meet on the road."

I'm afraid I might agree here; there just weren't enough of the classic "Act like you don't realize how bizarre this is" jokes to make up for the bland material in between.  I suppose it remains to be seen, but it would be funny if we saw Look Around You slow down while Xavier: Renegade Angel speeds up.

I think the biggest laughs from me were over "This record is erased." and "I don't know, I just don't know..."   Plus the callbacks to the first series.

It was okay. Personally I liked the previous format better (the science-module format). I think the show moved a little too slowly, and didn't have enough laughs in the 30 minute period.

I loved the record "is erased" thing, Thankofsky, the Q&As (high-fie lol) etc.

thants.

I really liked this episode.  The word play in this show is outstanding.

I also enjoyed all the actresses.  Very beautiful.  I'd do them.  Do-tiful.

I was impressed to see Harry Enfield as Tchiacovsky.

And the good thing about most British actresses is, they put a lot of full frontal nudity in their work. heh. American comedians never get naked.

I loved it! I thought it was freakishly close to what most cheesy kids call music...... almost too real to hear.

They were all great, I do agree it might be starting to get dry --- but the chick in the silver is all it took to secure my viewing future.

Unless you count Mr. Show. Bob and David got naked quite a lot in that show.

Last night was my first time watching the show :smileytongue:, is this is an old show or something? It seems so outdated with the parodies.

But it was entertaining and I plan on catching it again.

I love this episode, but the season as a whole dissapointed me compared to the first one. The song at the end was worth a good laugh..
