I didn't catch this line till the second time I watched this episode. That's the brilliance of this show is that the most obscure things will make only a few laugh, but they will laugh hard..

I don't see how people can laugh at The Mighty Boosh, and not find Look Around You funny.

I've only caught Look Around You a handful of times, but I've always enjoyed it. Real downbeat and dry.

Quirky live action shows beat the heck out of Family Guy and King of the Hill. Those shows can be funny, but that mainstream junk has no business on Adult Swim. You can watch that stuff anywhere, and I can't help but think every time I see Family Guy, and King of the Hill in Adult Swim, that they're a waste of valuable time slot - especially King of the Hill which was never that great imo. But of course Adult Swim airs them because they're mainstream, and bring in the ratings.

 When you have a network, you have to decide if you want to be popular, or you want to fill a niche. Because doing one, usually compromises the other.

I think the first episode of this programme that I saw was "Sulphur."  At first, I honestly thought it was one of those ridiculous films that they made us watch in school way back in the day.  We thought those were pretty funny at the time because they were so bad.  But it soon became apparent that it was an homage to the genre.  I think this show is even funnier than the old educational films that they parody.  

I like it.

This show is a work of art. It's Brit-smart (you have to know things about actual British culture--not just stupid **werd**, you have to have actually LIVED THERE), plus its totally the heir of Monty Python humor. I didn't like it as much when it was a science show because I needed characters to connect with, but now, EGADS, its so genius. Everything from the color-scheme to the BBC adverts are PERFECTION.

i was seriously L-O-Ling but its creepy i found its like one of those things on tv that when you watch it you get goosebumps because you dont really understand how it works or why it even exists...(cirque du soleil for example)

I loved this show years ago, and paid to import season 2 when I found out it came out.  Didn't like the format change, but meh.

It's a brilliant dry parody, but a REALLY dry parody of a really specific type of show.  If you aren't into it, you aren't going to get into it, so that's risky.

Glad to see some folks get it though.  It's a very lovingly made show.

If only there had been a sex ed episode. Then I'd buy all the adsw dvids ever just to see it. The inventory competition is my personal favorite.. namely the skin balm that turns you into a flying rock.. sounds nifty for both military application and space travel. Even has an antidote. Bonus.
