It's sorta a guilty pleasure because, as a rule, I'm against live-action on the network.

Not all kids are stupid, its mainly the ones that went to a technoligcally advanced school where the teachers we'ren't pouring vodka in their coffee. Most of my general education classes

were taught by videos explaining that cells were like little buildings and that mathematic formulas can be explained in rapping. I do remember Bill Nye, the science guy as well. And his rap about Cold blooded reptiles and hot blooded dinosaurs. 

I love this show, I don't really have time to watch [as] as much as I want to, is it still on the air?

It seems that a lot of British humor gets bashed over here. Its not bad its just not your kinda of humor, I personally like the brit comedy and can't stand shows like Family Guy any more. But that is why there are many different forms of comedy so we can all find something that makes us laugh

I've seen this show only twice, it's very wierd, unusual, and somewhat odd. i've try to watch more though before coming to a conclusion.

This show really is crap. And to all those guys who say it's just too "mature" or "british" or both for me. I've seen ricky gervais's comedy routines on war, AIDS, and fat people (I am fat but it's still funny). I've also seen john oliver do stand up, which is very good also. I've also read an article by a british man on cracked.com that was very funny. I can come up with a joke very fast (Ever hear the one about the communist who was running away from a mob, but his car was stalin and he ended up with marx on his face?) and I know alot of english language jokes. Look around you had jokes so old and dry that if they were an old man, one touch and he would collapse into a pile of dust. It was total crap.

I've only ever seen like, two episodes of Look Around You, but I thought it was a genius parody of educational media. The water episode is hilarious.

Make a combination of all the points made by the "maturity" and "british comedy" posts and you have a recipe for a mass amount of people to dislike this show. When you get down to it; if you don't get it, are biased towards brits, are just too young to understand the concept or a combination of these factors-you will not fully enjoy this show.

While I will say the show is genius in its creation, I don't think you need to be particularly bright to "get it". Most of the jokes are pretty blatant.

I have no idea what it is that could make someone not love this show, but I hope you'll all join me in praying for the lost souls of anyone who doesn't pleasure themselves to the theme song on a daily basis.

Haha you'll have to excuse my earlier posts. As I have not been on in a great deal of time I've learned I still have to same non-appreciation for British humour but have found different means in explaining it intelligently.

For one, I don't feel that any of the Britshows really fit in on a programming block that established itself for airing cartoons. That being said, it would have fit better on a network such as Nick @ Nite because Nickolodeon is known fairly well for showing not only cartoons.

The only way someone could think this is the worst show is if they've only been watching TV for two years.  Come on people, did we learn nothing from the 80's?  Ever seen the Banana Splits, even?  Or My Super Sweet 16?  Would you rather watch John & Kate Plus 8?

Online hysterics aside, this is an incredibly dry, niche show that is against the format, so I can understand people not getting into it.  I like it (although season 1 was way way way better than season 2, season 2 is kinda crap by comparison)  

It is a spoof of a very specific type of 70's "science" show, so yeah, if that description doesn't grab you nothing I say would.  Me, I love it, I also love Robot Chicken.  Humor is suggestive, internet.  Deal with it.

it's definitely not intellectual humour. it's subtle & clever, yeah. but it's nothing that anyone would need any prior knowledge to actual enjoy, just an appreciation for dry satire.  tim & eric use similar humour at times, I would say that's another live action show that isn't strictly "idiot humour".

but yeah, it mostly goes over the heads of (murrikan) people.
