I read this last night & said "Not Again!" *sigh* If you really want a Lot of Lucy, buy the complete season off iTunes. Else...
There is no DVD... yet... because [as] is still stupidly not greenlighting a Second Season. Once that's done (hopefully 30-minute eps & not 15), and Season 2 runs on teevee in (hopefully) 2009, we'll either get a Season 1 DVD or "Lucy DotD: The Complete Series". That depends if Season 2 does well & [as] orders Season 3 or not. Either way, I've thought a DVD with only 11 15-minute episodes (counting the Pilot) & a few extras isn't worth my money. Now that I think of it, commentary from Loren Bouchard & H. Jon Benjamin would be interesting & funny... but still not worth it.
If Season 2 gets the go-ahead for 10-13 30-minute episodes, but [as] then cancels it [eediots!
], a Complete Series DVD set would definitely be worth my money. If Season 2 makes Lucy a breakout hit, then www.williamsstreet.com will probably come out with a Season 1 DVD. If that's the case, I'll probably buy it then.
