Is Lucy: DotD a repackaging of Home Movies?

It was created by the same person (Brendan Small), and they have atleast 4 or 5 cast members that came from Home Movies, and they use the exact same voice (they don't make any effort to conceal their voices).

No, it was created by one the same people, Loren Bouchard. Brendon Small had nothing to do with it. Lucy and Satan are the only to regular charaters that are voiced by former Home Movies voice actors as far as I know and they both have somewhat differnt voices. Though I'll admit that Jon Benjamen is sort of a one trick pony with voice acting and doesn't change his voice that much between charcters. Lucy sounds like a post-puberty Melisa, which is kind of interesting. That all aside, none of those things make the show a repackaging of Home Movies. Similar voices and workers with an entirely different plot, entirely different characters and entirely different jokes makes for an entirely different series.

From Wiki:

Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil features many of the cast and crew of Loren Bouchard's previous show Home Movies, including Melissa Bardin Galsky, H. Jon Benjamin, Eugene Mirman, and Sam Seder.

Brendan Small was in this too. He may not have created it, but he played a cameo.

I know all of that. How does that contridict anything I said? Well actually, I didn't know that Brendon Small made a cameo in Lucy: The Daughter of The Devil, but that doesn't change much.

you gotta admit though it has very similar dry humor dialog.  but then again home movies is basicly a repackaging of Dr. Katz.  I aint complaining though cuz i like dry humor.

Brendon was not involved with Lucy, The Daughter of the Devil. Loren Borchard, as well as many other Home Movies regulars, were behind Lucy, The Daughter of the Devil.
