after rewatching a few of me favorite eps of Lucy (Vampire Choir Boys, Satan's School for Girls) i can actually see Lucy probably pulling off a film if given the chance. maybe if DVD sales are doing well and the fanbase is still going strong, it could turn out like Futurama.
i'm not sure how the plot would go for a Lucy movie, but here's one i'm just spitting out as i type this:
Lucy and **alf** decide to finally sleep together after dating for over a year. but when Satan finds out that Lucy is pregnant, he fears that her baby will nullify his plans to take over the world. so when he tries to find Lucy and convince her to have an abortion, the Special Fathers decide to come and protect Lucy to have her child be born. as this goes on, Satan grows furious as he summons hordes of Vampires and reanimates the recently deceased to horde on her child. at this time, **alf** goes through a life changing decision to either stop being a DJ and become a father, or leave Lucy and join her father.
that's all i got in the few seconds i thought of it, but the way the show is done, and with some episodes you can put together, it can be done as a film. maybe if Williams Street is willing to go for it if DVD sales do well, but i doubt it'd ever happen since it's not a major hit.
