Adult Swim's target demo is males 18-34, and I think one of the reasons that the show focused a lot on Satan and DJ Jesús was to better appeal to that demographic. Then again, if I'm remembering correctly, Home Movies was initially geared more toward women (when it was still SquiggleVision). And I'm not a woman, but I suppose Lucy would appeal to women in a lot of the same ways that Home Movies does.

This show had its moments.

 

When I closed my eyes while watching this show, I could pretend it was Home Movies. The earlier poster was right; this show's target demo was (H.) Jon Benjamin shows.

Not sure.  Im a woman and I loved it.  But so did my boyfriend.  Hes sort of a pansy, but not a woman.
