Episode 208 "Franz Kafka's Jealousy!"

[ Edited ]
Season 2 Episode 8

"Franz Kafka's JEALOUSY!"

Tonight, The Invisible Man has a thing for watching Elizabeth in the bath, much to her own knowledge, and Victor's [false] nonchalance..

Didn't think we'd see Liz's hoohah in this ep...sort of...
Why would you watch Saturday Night Live when you can see a giant bat monster with huge claws and a prehensile tail beat the hell out of a kid who's been converted into a part-time death god and is also able to invoke the powers of darkness at will? That sounds right more interesting, right? The battle rages on in Bleach, this Saturday night at Midnight!

And stick around for the rest of TOONAMI as well!

So what was the "hammer" count in this eppie? Was it as high as the gratuitous Obama ep in the first season?

Although it seemed more natural in this case. No "pen!s-a-doodle-doo" here!

Enjoyed this evening's episode.  The Invisible Man character is awesome.  Have always had trouble getting into the Dracula character.  Tonight he started to gel for me a little bit, and not in a gay way.  I think I'm finally getting used to the character and the jokes they use through the character.

Elizabeth got a lot of action this season, after saying earlier in the season that they didn't seem to user her enough and whatever, they were already using her more.  That's why people in the past shouldn't analyze the present, because they don't know what the hell they're talking about. The future makes fools of us all, until we're there, and then we're just - not into it.  Which x2 fool u.

Next week looks awesome.  Great promo choice, making it look like an old timey movie promo.  Much catchier than the recent spate of "here's what happens on Frankenhole" promos that don't really seem to know what to do with the show beside telling you the episode plot.

That chef at the end is a funny guy.  I like that logo and those little lines he says.

Can you see my silly willy? Of course not.

I'm invisible.

And not well-hung.

Not my favorite episode of the current season, but still plenty of fun. I wonder how the show will handle the fallout from the explosive finale. And when will Dr. Polidori return?

Actually, I've checked the schedule and it appears there will be no fallout from this -- at least not right away -- because Adult Swim is airing the episodes out of production order. I wonder if Dino or anybody involved with the show could tell us whether "Franz Kafka's Jealousy!" was originally intended to be the season finale or not.

This show exists in several different time periods. In that resepect I have the freedom to treat it more like a cartoon. Everything goes back to status quo because I choose a spot through the Frankenhole that suits me. Also, the running order is completely mine, this season.

Here's a little trivia. A bit of this episode was salvaged from the dumped "Mother To Be-Sa" episode from last year. That's why there were two directors listed in the credits.

Cool. Thanks for the inside scoop!

I got a big kick out of the Wolf Man panting in the sauna.

I was wondering about why it listed Season 1 credits. Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty wicked episode, anyone know how many episodes there are going to be, all together this season?

I snort blunts and drink reindeer blood. Looking for the almost extinct creature known as: Jason Biggs. I'm Bat mane. All signatures are cheesy as sh1ttttt though

I'm sourcing Wikipedia here, but it lists two more upcoming episodes for this season, coming to ten.

Over so soon..

"Jealousy" was pretty good.  Not much I can add to what was said except....

In the scene by the lake w/ Griffin & the little girl I was a bit distracted. Kept hoping one of the mosquitoes siphoning the Invis. Man would fade out.  They were drinking Invisibility-Potion-laced blood, after all!  How cool would that have been?!??!!

Still, a good ep., all in all.  Next week's "Godzilla" homage looks to be a winner.  Looking forward to it!

Were they mosquitoes? Thought they were flies. That would be cool though, and would make Griffin a valuable commodity to Dracula and other vampires.

They sounded like mosquitoes as they swooped in for a landing.

Watched the clip again to remind myself; the bugs (whatever they were) all flew into him and died, there was no blood-sucking going on

you may be right about it.  they may have been flies (sounded like 'skeeters,  tho'). and they may have been flying-into-&-splatting-on Griff (never noticed any little "shreik-&-splats"), instead of landing-on-&-drill!-baby!-drill!-ing him.  maybe I just got caught up in the excitement of it all!!!

we'll just have to wait for the dvd's <hint, hint, hint, hint,> and hear the commentaries by  Dino "Deathmeister" Stamoutopoulis. [gee, I hope I spelled that right; I can never remember when to stop typing "Stamoutopolopolisus".  sorry.]
