Mary Shelley's Frankenhole Like it or not?

I've only seen three episodes and I already love it. I like the style and the humor. I only wish it was a half hour long, but I understand why it isn't.

I like it a lot so far. It seems to have a lot of room to grow, kind of like Moral Orel did.

I didn't think that those ol Moral Oral guys would be back with anything more impressive than the hilarious religious commentary of Oral but my go they did it. I thought this was going to be rather boring with the pop culture references and reducing historical/pop culture figures to the basic jokes of their popular personalities but when Jefferson destroys all of time just to get a black hammer I could not stop watching.

The opening and Theme son are what pulled me in the most. This very cartoonishly horrific show with paper model being introduced by this very chilling and original opening sequence of each new person entering the castle. I really hope there will be a full version of that opening soon, I get goosebumps AND sing along with it during each episode heh. Can anyone tell me the last line the singer sings before, "Take my hand, we're going down the Fran-ken-HOLE!"? I want to sing along with the whole song heh

Be-yond space and time...

Stran-ger than the soul...

Is the world...deep inside the Fran-ken-Hole!

Leave all hope be-hind...

??(pretty much...all con-trol)?

Take my hand...we're goin' down the Fran-ken-HOLE!

I'm pretty sure it says 'relinquish all control', but I could be wrong... That's what I heard at least. :smileytongue:

I've seen two so far -- the two that have been put up in the video section.

The first one I just thought was kind of cool and enjoyable and everything, but the second I found to be a lot sharper and funnier.

Yeah, this is looking like a good show.

I'll look forward to seeing what they'll do with it in future episodes, and possibly future seasons.

I do like the show. Not as much as Moral Orel but that was similar in it's 1st season. I think people need to remember that Dino has to play ball with the network to a degree. Moral Orel season 1 & 3 are very different in many ways. I'm definitely gonna keep tuning in and have faith that Dino will make this another great show. Just give the man some time to flesh things out.

People need to remember to, it's unfair to compare the shows. As someone has said before, it's like comparing Home Movies to Metalocolypse.

1st ep (MJ) I liked because it had a few really great bits in it, liked the animation, visual style, music, all the little touches.

wasn't crazy about the MJ angle.

2nd ep (Jefferson) I liked better overall.  Thought it was funny, maintained all the things I liked from the last ep, plus added a little more.  Still wasn't crazy about the Obama angle.  The pop culture crutch type stuff.

3rd ep totally had me.  I think that's when the series popped for me for sure.

tonights I also enjoyed.

It's odd with this show, I would say I really enjoy it, like it a lot, maybe not quite extreme like (show love I guess you could call it) but I just know it will be.  I mean, I can already see the possibilities, and already have confidence in Dino, the cast, crew etc.  So - seems inevitable really.

Next week looks great too.

I'm trying to give this show a fair shake but it's meh for me so far.

It is a lot like Moral Orel in that, on the positive side it is interesting to watch, a work of art, and full of heart. And on the negative side it is consistently less funny than other AS shows like ATHF, Squidbillies, Frisky Dingo... and even "quirky" shows like Venture Bros and Birdman.

The Jefferson episode was the funniest so far, if there's more like that I'll stay tuned.

its really good

Once upon a time, there was a woman picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying she asked the snake, "Why have you done this to me?" And the Snake answered, "Look Btch, you knew I was a snake."

I don't know why.....but I like this show. It has me looking forward to watching something on adult swim outside of Sat. for the first time in a long time.

Maybe I like the dark Halloween like theme, all I know is the Death episode made me laugh.

The Were-Lawrence episode is the first one where I didn't have to wonder whether I liked it or not. I liked it, period.
