I've heard Dino say this in another interview as well.. no official statements otherwise as far as I know. That new "Up and Coming" feature on the homepage will hopefully provide some Frankenhole news sometime soon.

I'd have to say, I think it would be stupid of [as] to pass on a second season. Like Delocated, Check It Out, Childrens Hospital, Titan Maximum, Squidbillies, God The Devil and Bob all fit [as] I think(I know I'm skipping a few new-ish series but I'm lazy right now).

I have a soft spot for this show though I am really expecting great things from Dino on this one.

I actually ran into Scott Adsit in the city a few weeks ago (which was **QWOP** awesome.)  I wasn't going to post anything because I didn't want him to get in trouble for telling me anything, but since it seems like it's rumored, I'll talk. He told me that yes they are working on a season 2 of Frankenhole, and that they had to promise Adult Swim that they wouldn't give it any Moral Orel-esque twist like the hunting trip episode.

I've been kicking myself for not asking him about the Mother Theresa episode since, I knew I should have prepared a list of questions for the day I might accidentally run into Scott  Adsit on the street. But either way, he told me that yes there is a new season coming. (Of course, he might have just said that to get the drooling fanboy away from him.)

Huzzah, indeed! I would hate for another quality animated program to be canceled, leaving another dark cloud of shame over Adult Swim. Good for Dino, Scott, et al.

Dino posted on his Facebook that the Frankenhole premiere was pushed back to Jan. 8 so there's no holiday interference.
